Use the right channel for setup questions, bugs, privacy requests, and security reports. Never post credentials or private file contents in a public issue.

Bug reports and ideas
Open a public GitHub issue with sanitized steps and expected behavior. Remove usernames, hostnames, tokens, invoices, and file contents first.

Use the private reporting channel for vulnerabilities, suspected cross-user access, credential exposure, or a data-rights request. Do not include live secrets unless the maintainer specifically asks for a secure follow-up.

Never send a Nextcloud password, app password, OAuth token, API key, recovery code, private share URL, full invoice, or unredacted log. Rotate any secret that was exposed accidentally.
